1. About this policy
This Acceptable Use Policy explains how we expect you to use Ottilie responsibly.
It applies to the Ottilie website, app and related services, including Ottilie Plus.
This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Using Ottilie responsibly
You must use Ottilie lawfully and responsibly.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your account details secure;
- providing accurate information where reasonably required;
- ensuring that you have the right to upload or save content; and
- using Ottilie in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, please contact us as soon as possible.
3. What you must not do
You must not use Ottilie to:
- break the law or help someone else break the law;
- commit fraud or impersonate another person;
- access another person’s account without permission;
- upload malware, viruses or other harmful code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data;
- interfere with the security or operation of Ottilie;
- deliberately overload, disrupt or damage the service;
- bypass authentication or other security measures;
- misuse free trials, subscriptions or promotional offers; or
- do anything that could reasonably harm Ottilie, its users or others.
4. Automated access and scraping
You must not use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access Ottilie without our permission.
This includes:
- systematically copying or collecting content;
- making excessive automated requests;
- harvesting information about other users;
- bypassing technical restrictions; or
- using automated tools in a way that disrupts Ottilie.
This does not prevent ordinary search engine indexing where we have allowed it.
5. Images, screenshots and other content
Ottilie may allow you to upload images, screenshots, links and other content.
You must have the right to provide anything you upload or save.
You must not upload or use content that:
- breaks the law;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark or other rights;
- contains malware or harmful code;
- is deliberately misleading or fraudulent; or
- is abusive, threatening, hateful or otherwise inappropriate.
You remain responsible for the content you upload.
Our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy explain how we process content and personal information associated with your account.
6. AI and automated features
Some Ottilie features use AI or other automated technology to help identify products, organise content and provide suggestions.
You must not use these features to:
- deliberately abuse or overload our systems;
- attempt to bypass security controls;
- interfere with the operation of Ottilie; or
- use automated prompts, scripts or other tools to attack or disrupt our services.
Automated suggestions may occasionally be inaccurate. You should review product information, prices and retailer details before relying on them or making a purchase.
7. Protecting Ottilie
You must not:
- reverse engineer or decompile Ottilie except where applicable law allows you to do so;
- attempt to access source code or systems that are not publicly available;
- interfere with our servers or networks;
- test vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- circumvent technical protections; or
- copy or use Ottilie’s software or underlying technology to create a competing service.
Nothing in this section restricts rights that cannot legally be restricted.
8. What happens if this policy is breached
We may take reasonable action if we believe this policy has been breached.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- asking you to stop the relevant activity;
- restricting access to particular features;
- removing content where necessary;
- suspending your account;
- cancelling access to Ottilie Plus or promotional offers; or
- closing your account.
We may take immediate action where necessary to protect Ottilie, our users or our systems.
We will consider the seriousness and circumstances of the issue when deciding what action is appropriate.

Please do not send us passwords, payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
